When Mike Longman was working as a part-time chief to pay his way through the Economics degree he realised that food, not numbers, is what he is passionate about. That is how after a while, he ended up at the pastry kitchen. So when it was time to “grow up”, he moved back to his native coastal Cornwall and founded Chocolarder. His mission: to make craft chocolate that is simple, carbon emission-free, ethically sourced, and extremely delicious. As if he sewed the sensation of a sailing boat, by which Mike brings his cacao beans and sugar to his factory to reduce the carbon footprint or the feeling of a perfectly cresting wave into each bar, his chocolate nothing but vibes for a conscious and sustainable lifestyle.
