This dark single origin chocolate is made with cocoa from the Congo’s Mountains of the Moon. 1000 small farmers cultivate organic, fair-trade cocoa on the hillsides of this mythical mountain range. We use specially selected, large cocoa beans – they call them Selection Noir de Noir. A mild, aromatic experience – a cocoa with natural style!
Fragrance notes: notes of grapes and berries, subtle hints of red wine, mild notes of fermentation and spice
Taste notes: notes of almonds, lightly salted toasted bread with butter, slightly nutty with notes of cream and anise, dried fruit, candied red fruit, mild spice, lye roll, finish of grapefruit.

Good bar to get initiated into the world of craft chocolate. Nice malty, chocolaty flavours. Straightforward and agreeable, without the acidity or astringency in other more complex bars.
